IPL 2019 PREVIEW: The Rising Sun- SRH

The Champions of the 2016 edition of the Indian Premier League and one of the most consistent teams for the last 4 years are gearing up for another exciting season. Before the auction, the Hyderabad franchise had to sacrifice their star Indian opener, Shikhar Dhawan as he was traded to the newly christened Delhi Capitals, in return they  got all-rounders Vijay Shankar and Abhishek Sharma, along with spinner Shahbaz Nadeem.

Much like the defending champions CSK, the Sunrisers also didn't tamper much with their core squad. In the auction,  they made some intellegent purchases according to their requirements. To fill up the shoes of Shikhar Dhawan, they have picked up the swashbuckling English wicket-keeper batsman, Johny Bairstow to assist David Warner, who is making a comeback into the professional cricket outfit after serving an year-long ban due to the ball-tampering issue. Both of these opening batsman are expected to provide massive starts to the Sunrisers. But, both of the above players will be leaving the IPL mid-way for their respective international sides, for an early world cup preperations. Thus, the Hyderabad outfit has bought the Kewie veteran, Martin Guptill as a valuable option at the top of the order. Bengal wicketkeeper, Sreevats Goswami can also play the role of a perfect opening batsmen, when required.

In the middle order, Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, Wriddhiman Saha, Shakib-al-Hasan, Vijay Shankar, Deepak Hooda can provide plenty of options to the skipper, Kane Williamson who is highly valuable in the Sunrisers' batting line-up due to his elegant stroke-playing abailities.

The Afghan prodigy, Rashid Khan, swapped player, Shahbaz Nadeem and the crafty all-rounder Shakib al-Hasan will be donning the spin department while Sandeep Sharma, Bhuvaneswar Kumar, Sidhdharth Kaul, Basil Thampi along with Vijay Shankar will be handling the pace-attack.
 With plenty of options in each department, Sunriser's Hyderbad will be heading towards clinching their second title and they are expected to provide a marvellous show to win the hearts of their fans in this season.
