Opening slot in odi cricket is very much important place to bat on & in this slot in the odi cricket history ,there are many legends of openers had passed their time in the middle.Among them, Sachin Tendulkar has been named the finest of all without any doubt.Excluding him,there r also many classical & legendary openers had came in odi cricket. Sourav Ganguly & Adam Gilchrist r fallen in that category.There is always some comparison going out there among the fans on these two as both played in same era & odi rules.But unfortunately manytimes there was not any solid conclusion happened of who was better opener becz of lacking details statistics & knowledge. So , here we will have some some statistical exhibition on these two legend to nourish that debate a bit more :-
